In Minnesota, when you say you’re “at the cabin” people don’t assume you own the cabin. If I said that in any other state say, besides Wisconsin, people would assume you own a cabin. None of my family members own a cabin. They are a dime a dozen up here to rent.
While Justin spent four uninterrupted days working, Jules, Marlo and I headed up north to spend time at the cabin with my in-laws. Playing in sand, swimming, fishing, napping, hanging out with family, taking the paddle boat out and walking across theĀ Mississippi River headwaters.
Cousins Max and Adrienne with Jules and their certificates from walking across the Mississippi River.
Their boats made from tree bark.
Marlo said it was hot.
Jules and cousins fishing with Poppy.
His fishing face.
Pretty sure he caught something!
Awesome catch!
