Happy New Year! Now that Christmas is over, I’m back to work and Jules is back to daycare, here’s a recap of all the festive fun we had.
Lesson for next year: don’t put presents under the tree until the absolute last moment. This kid and his “what’s in this one!?” and “these are all mine!” and of course the question of the hour, every hour, “when can we open these?” But I can’t fault him for being exciting. It IS exciting!
Holiday break means:
Hot chocolate and oatmeal for breakfast (with Lamby naturally)
Decorating a gingerbread house
Helping mom bake
A first Christmas
Getting his own baby doll
Getting her own baby doll and clothes that aren’t pink! Thanks Aunt Heather!
Putting together a pretty elaborate Hot Wheels track
Not letting sub-zero temps stop some from playing outside, Jules wanted to ride his trike with his new bell. (What do Minnesota kids do when they get new bikes for Christmas? Does that even happen here?)
Someone is still new to hair bow wearing
Despite her health scare, she’s still with us and doing well
Presents that keep coming. Thanks Uncle Chris and Aunt Angel!
Someone is sitting up mostly on her own now!
Happy New Year from our little family.
